THE GOOD NEWS

God created you, knows you, loves you, and has a plan for your life.

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

- Genesis 1:27

I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. - Jeremiah 31:3

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11

Everyone is separated from God because we have sinned against God.

...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. - Romans 3:23

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

- Isaiah 59:2

Separation from God leads to death and certain judgement.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23

God made a way for us to be in relationship with Him. He gave his only son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins.

Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  - John 14:6

Everyone who believes and receives Jesus Christ, trusting Him to forgive their sins, will have eternal life.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. - Romans 10:9-10

How do you receive Christ?

He asked, ‘What must I do to be saved?’ They replied, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved’. - Acts 16:30-31

All you need to do is pray sincerely, asking Him this:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Guide my life and help me to do your will.

In your name, Amen.

What Now?

You are now a member of God’s family.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:11-13

You will start to live your life for God.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Romans 12:9-14

Publicly profess your faith by being water baptized.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Share with others what Jesus has done for you.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? Romans 10:14
