Rooted is a 10 week small group experience which we facilitate at Grace twice a year.  Wherever you are in your walk with Jesus, this course is designed to help you connect with the Grace community, establish healthy rhythms of discipleship, and seek God in the midst of your current season of life. Countless members of the Grace family have completed Rooted, and their testimonies of transformation are powerful!

If you want to become a volunteer leader, join a small group, or simply deepen your faith roots, Rooted is a great place to start! The next Rooted session will begin September 13th, 2020. Check back soon for registration! In the meantime, please direct any questions to the Rooted director, Gene Hall.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Rooted?

Rooted is a 10-week discipleship program and a catalyst for life-change. It provokes questions and conversations and group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story in God’s story.

Where will my Rooted group meet?

Week 1, 8, and the Celebration Dinner will be in the auditorium. All other sessions will be in rooms in the Grace building.

Are there scholarships available?

We believe that Rooted is a life-changing experience and we want everyone to participate! We understand that the Rooted registration fee may be a burden for some and we are happy to provide scholarships. Click here to apply for a scholarship.

Is there childcare available?

Yes on Sundays and Thursday mornings only. Cost $30 for first child, $15 for second, all others are free.

What if I cannot make all 10 weeks?

We understand that Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it is worth it to invest in the entire process. If you know you are going to miss more than 2 meetings, we ask that you wait until the next session of Rooted. The 10 weeks are a cumulative experience, and so we ask that every participant commit to honor each other with being at every meeting.

How do I register and what does it cost?

Click the Register Button above, cost is $50.

How will my Rooted group be chosen?

Our Rooted team will prayerfully place participants into groups of about 10-14 people. We group by age, marital status, and life stage. These groups ultimately depend upon the demographic of those who registered. A substantial amount of prayer and thoughtfulness goes into creating groups which we think will provide the best experience for all people who attend. While we do our best to honor requests when possible, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all friend or leader requests
