Everyone is on their own journey of faith, and those who come to Grace Church may be just starting the journey or have been on it for many years. The first next step in a journey of faith is salvation; from there we invite you to "go public" with your faith in baptism. Perhaps you have already done this and are just coming to Grace Church for the first time. Your next step is Welcome to Grace and Grace 101. From there, we invite you to get connected with other believers and grow in your faith with Groups & Discipleship. While you grow, we invite you to serve; and as you serve, you will help others come to know Jesus.
Salvation is an exchange - our sins for new life in Christ. By receiving Christ as our Savior, we are saying that we believe that we are sinners in need of a Savior, that Christ died for our sins and was resurrected, and that we now have new life in Him. One day we will join our Savior in heaven with all who have experienced this exchange. Salvation is totally an act of God’s grace that is accessed through faith in Jesus Christ. No person can be good enough to earn salvation, and “being good” does not contribute to receiving God’s love and favor.
Are you new to Grace? Are you wondering what Grace Church is all about? Welcome to Grace is a time to join Pastor Dave McCabe and other pastoral staff for an informal gathering with conversation about the beliefs, vision, and values of Grace Church. We hold these events 2-3 times a year after the 9am and 11am services. For more information contact Linda Hawker.
You’ve been to Welcome to Grace, or you’ve been at Grace Church for awhile and you want to know more. What does it mean to be a member? How can I get more involved? What does it mean to be a follower of Christ? Grace 101 covers a variety of topics from discovering a deeper relationship with Christ to what it means to be a member of Grace Church. These events are held 2 times a year. For more information contact Linda Hawker.
